Pin tube is a new type of strengthening heat transfer element, whose main advantages are: Firstly, regardless of the transverse flue gas or longitudinal flue gas, all needle extended surfaces are scoured by transverse flue gas turbulent, the airflow forms symmetric steady vortex and backflow region at the back of column of the needle rib, thermal boundary layer is constantly damaged and reformed, which make boundary layer of heat transfer surface thin, reduce thermal resistance to greatly improve the heat transfer coefficient. Secondly, du e to the needle rib of pin tube is a kind of cantilever structure, vwhich vibrates when impacted by airflow so it is difficult to accumulate soot, in addition, strong turbulent scour of flue gas makes pin tube heat transfer element has strong soot cleaning ability.
